March 13, 2024: Cattle theft remains a persistent challenge in some of the areas of Assam. A new case of cattle theft has been reported in Maloibari area of Khetri on Tuesday night.

Reportedly, two cows have been stolen by some miscreants from a woman’s cowbarn. The incident took place at Kalpana Bhujel Das’s house.

Tension erupted immediately after the theft took place in the area. Police started investigating the matter.
