July 25, 2022: People in Assam could be facing a severe shortage of LPG cylinders as transporters have decided to go on an indefinite strike starting today.



The LPG Transport Association has said that they would not be transporting cylinders from 7 LPG plants - North Guwahati, Tinsukia, Bongaigaon, Silchar, Dimapur, Duliajan and Sarpara Mirza till their demands are met.

The Association has alleged that IOCL have been cheating the transporters and not giving them their dues.
