July 13, 2021: The Assam Government on Tuesday allowed recruitment and exams for higher education with strict adherence to Covid protocol.

The Examinations to be held with 50% seating capacity or 50 candidates in each room, whichever is lower and not more than 200 candidates will be allowed at a single centre at the same shift.

Restrictions on inter-district movement and odd-even vehicle number norms are still in implementation due to curfew and total lockdown.  The government order further stated that the candidates would be exempted on production of valid admit card.
