December 7, 2023: At least ten child labourers were rescued during a search operation in Boko, Assam on Thursday.

The search operation was carried out jointly by the Department of Labour, Child Protection, ACRD, and different NGOs. Cases will be registered against the organisation for making those children to work as a labourer.

Reportedly, the number of child labourers is increasing in the area day by day due to economic poverty.
