July 30, 2020: The official residence of Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has been closed for 48 hours.

The move came after some staffers of the CM's residence were tested positive on Thursday.

The Chief Minister's office took to Twitter to inform this.

Meanwhile, Nagaland’s COVID-19 tally crossed 1500-mark on Wednesday as 53 fresh cases were detected in the state. Health minister S. Pangnyu Phom informed 29 fresh cases were reported from Dimapur, 19 from Kohima and 5 from Mon.
