September 13, 2020: The families of the five youths from Arunachal Pradesh, who were allegedly abducted by the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) have thanked the government and the Indian Army. The 5 youths were handed over to Indian Army by the PLA on Saturday.



The families and relatives of the five youths were happy when the news of the youths' handing over to Indian authorities was first broke.



They said that it was the tireless effort of the government, the army, media and the public that they got back their sons.

The PLA handed over the youths to Indian Army at Kibithu post in Anjaw district. However, the youths are now being quarantined for 14 days as per the Covid-19 protocol, and will be handed over to their families thereafter.
