April 9, 2024: At least 10 people sustained injuries in a clash that broke out between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters in the Tirap District of Arunachal Pradesh on Monday.



Reportedly, the incident occurred at the Dadam village under Khonsa West Assembly constituency. Both the political parties have reportedly filed FIRs against each other in connection with the clash.



Deputy Commissioner Ira Singhal has called for a meeting with the contesting candidates, Tangse Tekwa of the Congress and Chakat Aboh of the BJP, to discuss about the situation and ensure law and order in the district ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
