June 10, 2023: Four children who went missing when a plane crashed in Colombia on May 1, 2023, have been found alive in Amazon almost after 40 days.

According to sources, the crash occurred when the plane with six passengers and a pilot declared an emergency due to an engine failure. The rescued children's mother and pilots were killed in the incident.

As per official, the ages of the siblings are - thirteen, nine, four and one and they belong to an Indigenous group that lives in the remote region.

However, the children have been shifted to Bogota, where ambulances have taken them to the hospital for their treatment.

Interestingly, the youngest child has spent his first birthday in the forest.
