October 4, 2023: At least 21 people were killed and over 18 persons were critically injured on Tuesday after a bus carrying tourists to a campground crashed off and caught fire in Venice.

As per sources, the bus carrying foreign tourists, including Ukrainians fell from an elevated street before crashing into Mestre’s railway tracks.

Firefighters and rescue teams immediately reached the accident site and it took about one hour to extract some of the bodies.

On the other hand, the critically injured persons were shifted to five different hospitals in Venice.
