August 7, 2024: Recently, Dell has announced layoffs affecting an undisclosed number of employees, marking its second reduction in staff within the past 15 months.

TThe layoff mainly affected the sales and marketing divisions as Dell adjusted its strategy to focus on artificial intelligence (AI).

This recent layoffs follows a significant workforce reduction in 2023, when Dell cut over 13,000 jobs.

The company is now concentrating on optimising its resources and investing heavily in AI research and development.
