March 13, 2025: Days after an Israeli tourist was sexually harassed at Hampi, another incidence from the capital has rocked the country. A London resident woman, who had befriended a man named Kailash on Instagram was on a visit to Maharashtra and Goa. She then asked him to join her. However, he said he couldn’t travel and asked her to come to Delhi instead.

She reached Delhi on Tuesday and booked a hotel at Mahipalpur , near IGI Airport. Kailash visited her along with a friend named Wasim. She was raped by Kailash at night.

She lodged a complaint at Vasant Kunj police station next morning. As per guidelines, British high commission have been informed about the incidence.

Both the culprits have been arrested.
