August 23, 2021: Assam has reported 700 more COVID-19 positive cases on Monday taking the toll to 5, 85,134 according to the National Health Mission.
The state now has 6,648 active cases and total 5,587 deaths cases with 11 new deaths.
Out of the new cases, 165 were reported from Kamrup (M), followed by 47 from Golaghat, 39 from Sivasagar and 38 from Dibrugarh.
Golaghat and Jorhat reported 2 deaths each.
