January 8, 2024: Indian Cricketer Riyan Parag from Assam on Monday slammed the second fastest hundred in the history of Ranji Trophy.

In the ongoing match between Assam and Chattisgarh, Parag scored 155 off just 87 balls, which featured 12 sixes and 11 fours.

Meanwhile, Riyan took just 56 balls to complete his ton. Rishabh Pant still holds the record for fastest century in Ranji, which is his famous 48-ball hundred against Jharkhand in 2016.
