March 5, 2025: A man named Chandan Kishan succumbed to death today at Biswanath Chariali. A resident of hospital line in Mijikajan Tea Estate, Kishan’s wife Anisha Kishan attacked him with a sharp weapon. Locals informed the police immediately. Police arrested Anisha Kishan and the body of Chandan Kishan was sent for post-mortem.

On the other hand, Anisha Kishan showed no remorse for the act and revealed that it was because of the torture by the now dead husband that prompted her to take that extreme step. The case is under investigation. The whole of Biswanath Chariali is in a state of shock now after this terrible incident.
