April 23, 2022: The Assam government has declared April 24 as Dry Day as counting of votes for the Guwahati Municipal Corporation elections will take place tomorrow.
Fate of 197 candidates would be decided tomorrow. Elections were held for 57 of the 60 wards on April 22. BJP candidates have won from three wards – Wards 5, 6 and 22, unopposed.
