April 24, 2022: Counting for the Guwahati Municipal Corporation elections have begun.
Fate of 197 candidates would be decided today. Elections were held for 57 of the 60 wards on April 22. BJP candidates have won from three wards – Wards 5, 6 and 22, unopposed.
