October 31, 2023: In a shocking incident, a boy tried to commit suicide by jumping into the Brahmaputra River from the Saraighat Bridge in Guwahati, Assam on Tuesday.
Reportedly, the boy was rescued alive immediately by the Assam River Police and taken to a hospital for treatment.
