June 7, 2022: The voting for Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Election has started today. The voting process started from 7.30 AM.

A total of 165 candidates are contesting from 26 constituencies.

703,298 voters will decide the fate of the candidates. The polling will be held at 906 centres.

The Lumbajong constituency of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council has the highest number of voters’ i.e 69,815 voters. The Sarupathar constituency has the lowest voter i.e 10,128 voters’.

 BJP and Congress are contesting from all the 26 constituencies.
