August 21, 2023: Two people who were working at the construction site of the Maligaon flyover have been critically injured after being electrocuted in Guwahati, Assam on Monday.

Reportedly, the injured workers were identified as Musa Alam and Nabi Hussain. Both of them have been taken to a hospital for their treatment.

Several incidents on the flyover have been recorded in the past few days.

According to some sources, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the flyover will be inaugurated between August 28 and September 3.
