September 6, 2023: Two minor sisters were found dead after drowning in a pond in Juria, Nagaon in Assam on Wednesday.
Reportedly, the deceased girls were daughters of Saiful Islam of Batmari village. The bodies were found floating in the pond behind their house.
Though the girls were taken to a nearby health centre for their treatment, a doctor declared brought dead.
