June 11, 2022: The Assam Secondary Education Department has served show cause notice to 102 state-run schools for poor performance in the recently declared High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) or Class 10 exams.



According to the department, not even a single student passed the Class 10 exams in 25 state-run schools showing zero (0) per cent result while 70 schools’ pass percentage was below 10 per cent and 7 schools’ pass percentage was just 10 per cent.
