May 13, 2022: The eviction drive continued for second day at Doloo tea estate in Silchar on Friday.

Around 2500 bighas of land and 35 lakh tea plants of the tea estate to be evicted today for the construction of a Greenfield Airport.

A huge police force has been deployed at the eviction site for maintenance of peace during the eviction.

Earlier, on May 12, large number of people gathered together to protest against the eviction.
