January 19, 2024: Shockingly, a fire incident broke out at the Barkhabal area in Laharighat of Morigaon District on Thursday night.

Locals claimed that more than 7 families and around 14- 15 houses are destroyed in the incident. However, the reason behind the incident is still unaware.

Though locals informed about the incident, fire tenders reached the spot lately. Later, the fire tenders with the help of local people were able to douse the fire.

Reportedly, the domestic animals and the belongings of people were fully burned and turned into ashes. More than 20 -25 lakh amount of property were destroyed according to the people.
