July 29, 2021: Amidst the ongoing Assam-Mizoram border dispute of 26 July, 2021 the Assam Government has issued advisory for travel restrictions to state of Mizoram for people residing in Assam.

The advisory stated that the people of Assam are advised not to travel to Mizoram as any threat to the personal safety of people of Assam can't be accepted.
