November 9, 2022: A cattle smuggling incident was reported at Panbari Police Station in Bijni, Assam on Tuesday.

The two accused - Kartik  Mishra(30) and Ratneshwar Barman(30) who are residents of 3 No Lakhi bora stole a jersey cow and sold it to Ibrahim Ali(40).

Locals stopped Ibrahim Ali while he was taking the cow through the town and reported the local police. The local police started investigating about the situation and arrested Kartik Mishra, Ratneshwar Barman and Ibrahim Ali on charges of cattle smuggling under IPC section 379/34.
