July 29, 2020: Actor Sushant Singh Rajput's father, KK Singh has filed a FIR against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.

Sushant Singh Rajput's family, who live in Patna, have accused her of abetment to suicide, alleging that she cheated him financially and mentally harassed him. The FIR also names six others including her family members.

Sushant's father, KK Singh, said, "Rhea, who was living with Sushant, left his home. She took some cash, jewellery, laptop, credit card, and Sushant's medical prescriptions along with her. Rhea blocked his number, after which Sushant called his sister and said that Rhea might cause harm to him. He informed his sister that Rhea threatened him with revealing his medical prescriptions to the media, after which no one was going to give him work."

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment in Mumbai's Bandra on June 14. The 34-year-old actor died by suicide, police says.

A four-member team of Patna Police has left immediately for Mumbai to probe the case.

Rhea Chakraborty was questioned by Mumbai Police on Tuesday night. Patna Police will also question the actress in connection with the case.

On Tuesday night, Rhea discussed the legal options available to her with her lawyers. They prepared the draft and documents have been signed by the actress. Her lawyers may appeal for an anticipatory bail at a Mumbai sessions court on Wednesday.

As per reports, Bihar Police will record Sushant's sister Meetu Singh's statement on Wednesday.
