August 13, 2020: An attack was attempted on Zubeen Garg on Wednesday night by miscreants in Guwahati’s Ganeshguri area.

The incident happened at around 12.40 AM when Zubeen was on his way home in Kahilipara from a studio in Zoo Road.

A group comprising of six miscreants who had come in car bearing registration number AS01-BY0675 obstructed Zubeen’s vehicle. Following this they came out of the car and tried to attack him besides hurling offensive abuses.

Zubeen somehow managed to get away from the scene.

It may be added that the eminent artist has lodged an FIR at Dispur Police Station regarding the incident.

Police is currently investigating the matter.
