October 22, 2020: The health department has extended the time for opening of restaurants during Durga Puja.
Revising its earlier guidelines, the department has allowed that restaurants across Assam can remain open till 10.30 PM. However, only takeaway foods are allowed.
Earlier, the department allowed the restaurants to be open till 9 PM during the Puja days.
