March 30, 2021: India recorded 56,211 new COVID-19 cases, 37,028 recoveries, and 271 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday.

With this, the total cases in the country mounted to 1,20,95,855 including 5,40,720 active cases and 1,13,93,021 recoveries. The death toll has gone up to1,62,114.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), as many as 7,85, 865 samples were tested March 29.

A total of 6,11,13,354 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered so far in the country.
