February 18, 2022: As many as 16 coaches of a goods train derailed and fell from the tracks on Friday. The accident took place in Rangapara of Assam.

The goods train was moving towards Tezpur. The incident took place near Rangapara Harisabha temple railway track.

No reports of any injury so far.

Railway personnel are conducting the track clearing exercise at a fast pace to avoid any inconvenience to other trains running on that route.
