July 13, 2020: Meghalaya Govt. has decided to impose complete lockdown for two working days with effect from today (July 13).
Taking to Twitter Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma informed on Saturday evening, “The Government has decided to observe the next two working days i.e on the 13 & 14th of July, 2020 as Total #Lockdown in the Shillong City agglomeration.”
“During this time, Shillong city and surrounding areas shall be under curfew till 6 AM of the 15th of July, 2020,” he added.
Meghalaya has registered total of 294 positive cases in the state, out of this 248 are active cases and 45 patients have recovered whereas one person has lost his life due to COVID-19.
