September 5, 2020: Manipur reported 90 new COVID-19 cases taking the total count of cases to 6,699.

The total count of cases includes 35 deaths, 4,899 recoveries and 1,765 active cases.

These include 24 personnel of CAPF personnel.

Of the 66 civilians who have been tested positive, 10 belong to Imphal West, 12 to Imphal East, 13 to Bishnupur, eight to Thoubal, three to Jiribam, two to Kakching, 15 to Tengnoupal and three to Ukhrul, and none of them has any history of travelling outside the State.

Of the total 6699, 1653 are Central security personnel. The recovery rate as on Friday is 73.13 per cent.
