March 2, 2021: India has reported 12,286 new COVID19 cases and 91 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry on Monday.

In an official statement, the Health Ministry said that India has reported 12,286 new COVID-19 cases, 12,464 discharges and 91 deaths in the last 24 hours.

With this, the total number of COVID0-19 cases in India stands at 1,11,24,527 and the active cases tally is 1,68,358.

While as many as 1,57,248 deaths have been reported, a total of 1,07,98,921 people have been discharged.

As per the Health Ministry, total 1,48,54,136 vaccine doses had been given.
