February 13, 2021: The last session of the 14th Assam Assembly concluded on Saturday. The session was marked by an emotional speech by chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal.



The business of the last day's session was held at the new building of the Assembly.



In his speech, CM Sonowal spoke about the achievements of his government in the last 5 years.

Earlier, the newly-constructed building as inaugurated by Sonowal and Assam Assembly Speaker Hitendra Nath Gosami.



The new assembly complex, built at a cost of Rs. 235 crores comprises a two-storey Legislative Assembly Building, a fifteen-storey Annexe I Building, a three-storey Annexe II Building. Besides, it also has one-storey sub-station building in the complex.
