"They should have been happy and not worried if Congress is really going to lose seats in Upper Assam." Bora quipped.

He also criticised BJP leader Ram Madhav for the latter's comment comparing Sarbananda Sonowal, Himanta Biswa Sharma and Ranjit Dass as Triveni Sangam of Assam politics.

On the schemes announced by the state government in the last few days, Bora questioned the sincerity of the BJP in implementing these schemes. He even alleged that many of the previous schemes of the government are not yet fully implemented.

Meanwhile, the AIUDF too has reacted to the BJP's criticism of the party's alliance with the Congress. Party leader Mamud Imdad claimed that the alliance will come to power but said Badrudddin Ajmal will not be the CM candidate. "If our alliance will benefit BJP, why is it shouting so much?" asked the minority leader.
