August 3, 2020: The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee on Monday protested against the failure of BJP to fulfill its promises to the people of Assam.

The party held "Pratarana Birodhi Divas" on Monday at the Rajib Bhawan. The protest, led by APCC president Ripun Bora was attended by many top leaders of the party like party veterans Sarat Barkataki and Dr Bhumidhar Barman.

They also attacked the BJP for not solving the flood-erosion problem of Assam in its 6 years of power at the Centre and 4 years in the state.

The Congress protesters also shouted slogans against the BJP.
