July 14, 2020: The number of COVID-19 cases has crossed 17000 mark in Assam with 1001 new cases confirmed on Monday.

Out of 1001 new positive cases, 513 cases are from Guwahati alone.

Till now in Assam, 17807 cases are positive whereas 6348 cases are active and 11416 cases have recovered successfully. The death toll has risen to 40 in the state.

Taking to the Twitter Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed, “Alert ~ 1001 new #COVID19 ve+ patients in Assam, 513 in Guwahati alone.

Keep patience & take required precautions. Don't panic, for this too shall pass!
