October 3, 2020: In a recent development, two more people were arrested in connection with the SI recruitment scam from Dibrugarh on Friday night.

Reportedly, the two persons have been identified as Priyo Nath Gogoi alias Jintu Gogoi of Jiban Phukan Nagar and Dilip Gogoi alias Bhai of Barpathar.

It may be stated that both of them are close acquaintance of former DIG PK Dutta, prime accused of the scam who is still absconding.

As per reports, a team of CID officials has brought both of them to Guwahati.

Earlier, BJP leader Diban Deka, one of the alleged prime accused of the scam had surrendered before Assam Police and is currently in five day custody of Crime Branch.
