January 25, 2021: 36-Hours Dima Hasao Bandh called by militant outfit Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) has throw normal life out of gear in Dima hasao district.

The bandh from 5 PM of 24 January has totally paralysed the district headquarter Haflong and also other parts of the district.

Vehicles remained off the road while shops, business establishment, schools, banks and offices remained shut during the bandh.

However, the trains services have remained unaffected.

The bandh has been called in protest against the killing of the two youths in police firing at Maibang on January 25, 2018 while protesting the proposed draft to include Dima Hasao into greater Nagalim.
