August 7, 2020: At least, 2078 Assam Police personnel have tested positive for COVID-19 out of whom 1495 have recovered informed Assam police’s ADGP GP Singh on Thursday.

Taking to Twitter, GP Singh informed, “August 6th2020 -

@assampolice 2078 personnel have tested positive till date. 1495 have recovered. Unfortunately, we’ve lost five colleagues till date.

@DGPAssamPolice @nhm_assam @CMOfficeAssam”

However, five Assam Police personnel have lost their lives due to the infection.
