August 3, 2020: At least, 1701 Assam Police personnel have tested positive for COVID-19 out of whom 1202 have recovered, informed Assam Police's ADGP GP Singh on Sunday.

Taking to Twitter, GP Singh tweeted, “August 2nd 2020 -

@assampolice 1701 personnel have tested positive till date out of whom  1202 have recovered, of whom, 349 have rejoined duty. Unfortunately, we’ve lost four colleagues till date.

@DGPAssamPolice @nhm_assam @CMOfficeAssam”.

However, four Assam Police personnel have lost their lives and 349 have rejoined duty.
