June 25, 2020: The total number of COVID-19 cases in Assam has risen to 6,282 with 203 fresh cases reported on Wednesday.

According to the State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, there are 2,508 active cases in the state while 3,958 have recovered so far and 9 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19.

“Alert ~ 226 new #COVID19+ cases detected in Assam today. Total cases 6282, Recovered 3762, Active cases 2508, Deaths 09.”

196 patients have been recovered in past 24 hours after they tested negative for COVID-19 twice.

So far three people have been migrated.
