July 30, 2020: The total number of COVID-19 cases in Assam has reached 38407 with 2112 new cases confirmed on Thursday.
Reportedly, 41028 tests were done in last 24 hrs out of which 2112 cases were detected. Out of 41028, 4267 tests for COVID 19 were from Guwahati City. 
Informing this Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Alert ~ 2112 new #COVID cases detected in Assam out of 41028 tests in last 24 hrs.

On Thursday, two patients have lost their lives and 1248 people have been discharged after they tested negative for COVID-19.
