It may be mentioned that currently in Assam the total number of COVID-19 cases stands at 20646 - out of which 7039 are active whereas 13554 of them have recovered successfully. The death toll has risen to 50 in the state.



Informing this Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Alert ~ 892 new #COVID19 ve+ patients in Assam



Out of these, 598 patients are from Kamrup (Metro), which include 184 from Guwahati Jail
