July 28, 2020: The COVID-19 cases in Assam have crossed 33000 mark with 1348 new positive cases on Monday.
Reportedly, 21742 covid tests were done in last 24 hours.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the state now stand at 33576 - out of which 8085 are active cases whereas 25402 have been recovered. Meanwhile, the death toll has rose up to 86.
Informing this Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Alert ~ 1348 new #COVID cases ( Guwahati - 155 ) detected in Assam out of 21742 tests done in last 24 hours.
Our low positivity rate of 6.19% is encouraging.
