June 25, 2020: The total number of COVID-19 cases in Assam rose to 6,370 with 88 fresh cases reported on Thursday.



Out of 88 new cases, 23 are from Kamrup(M), 20 from Sonapur, 10 from Tinsukia, 8 from Baksa, 7 from Karimganj, 5 from Dibrugarh, 4 from Dhubri, 3 each from Kokrajha and  3 Kamrup(R) and  2 each from Biswanath and Nalbari and 1 from Dhemaji.



Informing this Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Alert ~ 88 more #COVID19+ cases detected on June 24.



23 K'rup(M), 20 S'pur, 10 T'sukia, 8 Baksa, 7 K'ganj, 5 D'garh, 4 Dhubri, 3 K'jhar, 3 K'rup(R), 2 B'nath, 2 N'bari,1 Dhemaji



Total cases 6370, Recovered 3958, Active cases 2400, Deaths 09.”





196 patients have been recovered in past 24 hours after they tested negative for COVID-19 twice.





So far three people have been migrated.
