May 15, 2023: The Lahore High Court has granted protective bail to the Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi till May 23 in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

The former PM and his wife allegedly obtained billions of rupees and land worth hundreds of kanals from a real estate firm for legalising Rs 50 billion that was identified and returned to the country by the UK during his tenure.

Earlier, the PTI chairman was arrested by the rangers from outside the Islamabad High Court on May 9. He was detained in connection with the Al-Qadir Trust land deal case and indicted in the Toshakhana case. However, the SC announced that his arrest was illegal because no one can be arrested from inside the court premises. So, SC ordered his release on May 11.

Later, the Islamabad High Court on May 12 granted bail to former Pakistan PM Imran Khan for two weeks in Al-Qadir Trust Case.
