February 10, 2023: The newborn Syrian baby girl whose mother died after giving her birth under the rubble after the deadly earthquake of magnitude 7.8 that shook Turkey and Syria on Monday gets a name and a new home.

She has been named Aya, which means 'miracle' in Arabic.

According to some reports, her paternal uncle will take her home after getting discharged from the hospital.

The baby lost all her family members including her father and siblings after the quake.

The death toll in the massive Turkey-Syria Earthquake has risen to 21,051 on Friday leaving around ten thousand people injured. Reportedly, thousands of buildings have been collapsed.
