March 1, 2023: At least 29 killed and around 85 people have been injured after two trains in Greece collided on Tuesday night.



According to some reports, the incident took place when a passenger train carrying more than 350 people collided with a freight train on Tuesday near the city of Larissa in Greece.

According to fire department officials, the death toll may increase as the rescue operation is still underway. Around 194 passengers have been rescued safely.



150 fire fighters with around 17 vehicles and 40 ambulances were deployed in the accident spot to rescue the passengers.
