Around 1000 pilgrims from various countries, already residing in Saudi Arabia will take part in the annual prayer.

The annual Hajj has been scaled down this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Generally, 2.5 million pilgrims attend the 5-day ritual every year.

Moreover, pilgrims above 65 years of age may also be not allowed to attend it. Besides, pilgrims will have to undergo compulsory Corona test before their arrival in Mecca and home quarantine after their return.
